Business Details

Sonar Tells You Where Something Is. Hyperspectral Tells You What It Is.

We develop Underwater Hyperspectral Imaging (UHI) systems with AI-enhanced processing for accurate seabed identification. Our UHI sensors used on ROVs/AUVs/UUVs, provide real-time spectral analysis from the seafloor down to 6,000 meters.

Our technology uses AI to process the survey spectral data in real-time and achieves over 95% accuracy in identifying minerals, habitats, and targets. Our system can scan continuously at 3 knots, allowing us to survey 22,000 times more area than traditional core sampling in a 24-hour period.

Key Applications:

  • Mineral Exploration: Non-invasive seafloor mapping for sustainable critical mineral development.
  • Habitat & Environmental Monitoring: Detailed biodiversity assessment and regulatory compliance.
  • Defense & ISR: Rapid threat/anomaly detection for naval and security operations.
  • Offshore Energy & Research: High-res infrastructure inspection and oceanographic studies.

Benthic Spectral transforms raw spectral data into useful insights. To learn more or discuss working together, visit www.benthicspectral.com or contact us at 269-806-5245.
